Reception: Celebrating the Heritage of the Sumter Ribe of Cheraw

About this event

Join us for a special reception and opportunity to meet the exhibiting artists on November 10, held in conjunction with the 30th Annual Native American Indian Film & Video Festival of the Southeast and a 6:00 p.m. screening of Reel Injun. This thought-provoking documentary explores Native American representation in Hollywood and the importance of authentic Indigenous storytelling.

Together, the exhibition and film screening offer an opportunity to celebrate Indigenous voices, explore cultural traditions, and engage in meaningful conversations about heritage, identity, and representation.

Free and open to the public!
