Governor Henry McMaster proclaimed August as Child Support Awareness Month to shine a light on the department of Social Services’ new 24/7 online portals & programs, which helped over 217,000 children and delivered $306 million to families during fiscal year 2025.

On Monday night in Manning, Crestwood finished a high school football game that was postponed on Friday because of storms + they held off Manning for a thrilling win.
The Wilson Hall swim team traveled to Spartanburg for the Griffin Invitational on Saturday (Aug.
22) where the boys won the team title and Jacob Hewett broke a school record. The girls finished in fourth place.
